Mrs. Florence Asiedu- Antwi

Board Member | Chief Executive Officer

Mrs. Florence Asiedu-Antwi is a qualified accountant (ICAG) and has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG). In her experience, she has worked as an accountant at Expert Travels and Tours for six (6) months and as a Chief Internal Auditor with Ghana Telecommunications Company Limited for seventeen (17) years.

 As her qualification requires, she has worked within the ICAG code of conduct and confidentiality and has been aware of her professional responsibilities to stakeholders.

Professor George Wiafe

Board Chairman

Prof. George Wiafe was a senior lecturer at the University of Ghana, with over 19 years of experience. He holds a Master of Philosophy certificate from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, England. He also holds a Doctor of Philosophy certificate from the University of Ghana. From August 2007 to July 2009, he was the head at the Department of Oceanography and Fisheries, University of Ghana.

 Currently, he is the director of ECOWAS Coastal and Marine Resources Management Centre, University of Ghana. Prof. George Wiafe was the coordinator of the Europe Africa Marine Network (EAMNET) capacity building for earth observation in Ghana.

He is the regional director of monitoring for environment and security in ECOWAS States. He was an instructor of seven courses at the undergraduate level, ten courses at the graduate level, principal supervisor of 15 B.Sc. (Hons), 12 M.Phil and 5 PhD research projects. He also serves on 12 university committees/boards.

Prof. George Wiafe has participated in nineteen national/international training programmes, presented papers at thirty-five national/international experts’ workshop and has organized twenty-five national and international workshops. He has published thirty journal articles and six books. He is also a member of International Ocean Colour Committee, the Regional Maritime Security Working Group among others. He is a member of the American Fisheries Society, Committee on Space Research among others.

Rev. William Osafo Owiredu

Board Member

Rev. William Osafo Owiredu holds an Executive Master of Business Administration in Banking and Finance from Paris Graduate School of Management (PGSM), PGD in Management Studies from PGSM, partly qualified member of ACCA, a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply UK, and a licensed Reverend Minister. He has over twenty years experience in accounting and audit.

He is the Head of Finance at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Head office and lectures in financial management for churches at the Daniel Institute. He was the Project Finance Officer for the Human Resource Development Program for the Ministry of Local Government, which was funded by the European Union.

He serves as a Board Member for the following Organizations:  Spektra Designs ltd, Central University Tender Board, ICGC National Finance and Audit Committee, Central University Joint Advisory Board for Campus Hostels.

Rev. Michael Asiedu- Antwi

Rev. Michael Asiedu-Antwi is a qualified and experienced chartered accountant and heads the Assurance Practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) Ghana. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAG) and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana. He holds an Executive MBA in Project Management from the University of Ghana, legon.

Rev. Michael Asiedu-Antwi has served two terms (2010-2014) as a member of the Governing Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAG). In December 2012, he was elected to serve on the executive committee of Ghana South Africa Business Chamber. He has over twenty years working experience in Ghana and Tanzania and has over the years been involved in a wide range of assurance, due diligence reviews and internal audit reviews for major organizations in a cross section of industries, including mining, oil & gas, manufacturing, banking and finance, insurance and telecommunications.

Rev. Michael Asiedu-Antwi is an experienced facilitator and conference speaker, having delivered papers at continuous professional development programmes and also facilitated a number of workshops in Ghana, Liberia, Tanzania, Nigeria, Mauritius and Kenya.

Mrs. Nana Ama Asubonteng

Mrs. Nana Ama Asubonteng is a Chartered Accountant (ICAG), holds a B.A Degree in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Ghana. She was a financial consultant assisting the Ministry of Health and Sanitation in Sierra Leone, also she worked as a financial accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers for six (6) years. Currently she works with Ernst and Young as assistance manager, providing accountancy and business solutions to top local and foreign companies including those listed below;
